DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT

Love Lorn began as a student assignment, but I always felt there was more to the story.


Returning to it as a director gave me the opportunity to bring together a talented team and give it the cinematic treatment I imagined.   I wanted to create

a film that plays with perception - inviting the audience

to question what they see and, ultimately, reconsider what they think they know.


The story carries a personal resonance for me, but I wanted the film to speak for itself.  More than anything, I hope it makes people pause, feel something, and leave seeing things a little differently.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Biography:  Award winning Producer, Writer and Author Kevin Romano - Huhn is a storyteller extraordinaire. At the age of 57 he decided to go back to school (Toronto Film School) and study Film & TV Production. Along with 4 other classmates he co founded MARKD Productions (a video production company).  In a short time he has written dramas, a musical, and has three features in development.

His production on screen started in 2004, with nothing more than a vision. Kevin produced his own TV & radio show that aired on NHL Network, FOX Sports, Sirius/XM and TSN Radio. In 2012, he won a civic recognition award from the city of Markham, Ontario.  His passion to entertain, empower and educate is fueled by his life long mission to put smiles on the faces of those he meets.
